The design workshop targets 150 participants on day one and will than be broken out in sector groups on day 2 and 3. BALI DESIGN AWARD Following the design workshop will be the Bali Design Awards with the theme “Green Design”, environmental friendly, recycled, sustainable product design. The registration will be open to public from the 15th of July with a deadline for final concept drawing and product mock up by the 15th of October 2007. An international jury will than announce the winners and runners up of both categories Home Décor/Furniture and Fashion/Jewelry during the “Made in Bali Expo”.
MADE IN BALI EXPO “Made in Bali Expo” aims to be an annual B2B trade show in Bali, attracting international buyers and it will be therefore held in conjunction with the Indonesia Resource Expo in Jakarta , where BEDO will promote the Bali event with a stall. Expecting participation from 200 producers from Bali from the fashion, jewelry, home décor and furniture sector the first buyers already registered. “Made in Bali Expo” held 24 – 28th of October 2007 at Mal Bali Galeria.
